On the other hand, many experts and close acquaintances of Cobain dismiss these theories, emphasizing his struggles with addiction and mental health.
Seattle police and forensic experts have consistently upheld the suicide ruling.
Eldon Hoke, better known as "El Duce," was a controversial figure in the music world, known for his role in the shock rock band The Mentors. He made headlines when he claimed that Courtney Love offered him $50,000 to kill her husband, Kurt Cobain. Hoke's allegations gained attention when he passed a lie detector test in 1996, though such tests are not considered reliable evidence in court.
Critics argue that the note primarily discusses Cobain's disillusionment with the music industry, with only the last few lines suggesting suicide. Some believe these lines were added later.
Cobain reportedly had a significant amount of heroin in his system, which some claim would have incapacitated him, making it unlikely he could have fired a shotgun.
The way the shotgun was found has been questioned, with some suggesting it would have been difficult for Cobain to pull the trigger himself.
Private investigator Tom Grant, hired by Love to find Cobain when he went missing, has accused her of being involved in a conspiracy. He also points to her behaviour and actions as suspicious.
Some reports suggest that no usable fingerprints were found on the shotgun, which has fuelled speculation.
In my honest opinion this was not a suicide, I also believe Chris Cornell’s suicide was a murder but that’s another story for another day.

I am wondering if this detective could be Pat Smear. Oh. I guess "Pat" is you. But. Hmmm... thinking too much about Pat Smear: did one cute guitarist have some connection to another? Or is Pat Smear the killer. Had he gotten finished killing Darby before moving onto the next one?
Great story! I have also been interested in the apparent suicide. However, Grant raised some grave suspicions regarding Kurt Cobain"s death. I remember the day of his death. The authorities described the entire death scene. It was a very erie sight, as well as the description leading up to his death. RIP...Kurt Cobain. 🙏💔
